Make it your own!

You can really add or remove anything you feel like to these energy bites!

If you are not a fan of peanut butter, you can sub in any type of nut butter, like almond, cashew, or sunflower seed butter, to name a few.

Add some chopped up pieces of your favorite dried fruit!

You can add spices like cinnamon or pumpkin spice to add to the flavor,  or omit the coconut flakes by adding more oats until you reach the desired consistency.

In place of honey, use maple syrup instead. These make “vegan” energy bites, and the maple flavor pairs nicely with pumpkin spice.

You can even make granola bars (instead of bites) by pressing the mixture firmly into a parchment lined baking pan and allowing it to chill in the fridge.
