Motorhomes are motorized RV’s that have the distinct advantage of being self-contained and are easy to set up at your campsite. Motorhomes also provide unparalleled comfort and spaciousness, and are often used as people’s homes. There are three classes of motorhomes on the market:
- Class A motorhomes are the largest of the three classes, and are built on heavy-duty chassis. There are a near limitless array of options and floor plans available, and Class A motorhomes offer the utmost amount of luxury available on the road!
- Class B motorhomes are smaller and easier to drive and store than Class A’s. They often look similar to a van and are often referred to as van conversions or camper vans. These motorhomes tend to sleep a smaller amount of people, and are popular for couples or single travelers!
- Class C motorhomes are the perfect middle ground between Class A’s and Class B’s. They also look similar to a van, but can be distinctly recognized by their cab-over sleeping area. Class C’s are spacious and comfortable enough to accommodate the whole family!
Travel trailers come in a host of sizes and styles and offer an extensive array of amenities and floor plans to choose from. A huge advantage of travel trailers is that you can tow them with a variety of different vehicles, from a 4-cylinder vehicle to a half ton truck, depending on the trailer’s size and weight. There are many different types of travel trailers on the market that you can choose from, such as the classic travel trailers, fifth wheel travel trailers, toy hauler travel trailers, toy hauler fifth wheels, fold-down tent trailers, and park models. Each different type of travel trailer offers different options and amenities.
Truck campers are compact RV’s that can be carried in the bed of a pickup truck. A big advantage of this set up is that they allow you to two a trailer or a boat as well. Plus, they’re a dream to drive and store, and easy on your wallet!
